“Being a multi-talented person, makes one indolent to use all his talents.” – Manju

A while ago my Aunt Terri contacted new with new mission. Her Bible study group has a “vision” in mind for a new logo, and knowing I’m decent with paper, ink, and colored pencils…she reached out to me.

It isn’t the first time that I have drawn something for someone of another faith, but it is the first time that I would be doing so for an organization that could see it nationwide. 😬 No pressure, right?

Let me tell you…color matching was difficult, and I hope I got it right. If I didn’t, I hope they can have someone digitally alter it before sending it off for printing (assuming it’s approved by the board). I really hope I meet their expectations. I’m a bit nervous.

Overall, though, I’m pleased with the finished product. And it has led to someone else inquiring about a piece to be drawn. One thing is for sure…while I love creating art….my body can’t do it regularly. It kills my hand.

About The Author

I am a hobbyist photographer specializing in outdoor photography including families, children, engagement, seniors, and more within the Greenwood, Indianapolis, and surrounding areas. Photography is about people being real and then letting me paint a picture of that moment to remember forever. This is the story that matters most: real people, real stories, real moments.
My style has been described as creative, fun, engaging, and relaxed.
I understand that in order for me to capture beautiful images I must create a relaxed environment. I accomplish this by engaging in conversation, listening with my ears, and playing close attention to the smallest detail.
I believe that everyone should have access to affordable photography.
Photography is my therapy. Please understand that as someone who is disabled I do this on a part time, limited basis.
