“It’s only after you’ve stepped outside your comfort zone that you begin to change, grow, and transform.” – Roy T. Bennett

I am so exhausted. Let me first start out by saying that while I am a “visual” person and I’m “decent” at graphics making…website design is NOT my specialty. Add the WordPress’s messed up formatting system and random bugs I kept finding in their “templates” and I was up til after 5am trying to get this site looking how I wanted…and awoke to finish the job after only a few hours of sleep. But it’s done. It’s over…and now my website and social media platforms not only match, but are visually appealing – at least to me.

Yes, I realize I’m a little OCD about being “matchy”, but we all have our quirks. I’m even using the same “user photo” on Instagram. *shrug* I’m happy. Exhausted, but happy.

I’ve added a section for “Beauty & Makeup Tutorials” as well. Between my personal Facebook, Instagram, and people seeing me out in public and saying “ I wish I could do makeup like that…” I’ve been dabbling with trying to describe – in video – how I apply my makeup. In a perfect world I would be able to offer makeup services with my photo shoots, but A.) I’m not licensed for that and B.) I have this small problem with not liking to touch peoples faces. I think it’s part of the germiphobe in me. (Hello…weakened lungs and two auto immune disorders?)

Anyways…for the first time in a while I took photos of myself (non-selfies, anyway). I needed new photos for the website design/user icon. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times…I belong behind a camera and not in front of one.
